Hi Guys,
My HK's kingswood's brake booster needs replacing (hard pedal), i have a booster fitted to my HK ute which i'm guessing i can use(?) However i noticed the booster->firewall bracket is different between HK&T and the HK's pushrod looks longer. I'd like to fit the complete booster and master cylinder from the HT to the HK if possible (hk master cylinder leaking too), can i simply swap these parts onto the HK bracket or would something else need changing eg. any brake valve sizing? the master cylinders look slightly different too...or is my only option a reco of exisiting parts?
+ they are both factory front disc braked.
Cheers, Elton.

around Aug/Sept '68.

The early cars had a mount bracket with a relay lever & the booster & master cylinder was mounted almost level. Later HKs & all HT/HG had the booster at more of an
