Hello Everyone, I want to use a VP Commodore diff in my 39Plymouth project but its to narrow has anyone heard of widening this kind of diff.I'm using VP Commodore disc's up front. Elvis.

You can widen it using Ford 9" 28 spline axles, from say a BIG Ford eg Galaxy. You can also swap the long axle to the short side and get a new longer long axle made, depending of course how wide you need it. |

You could use an AU Falcon diff they are wider than other falcons due to their different offset wheels. EF-EL Falcons pretty well use exactly the same rear brakes as the VP so the AU just might do it too. All that you would have to do would be to get the |

If you use the Ford diff it may be cheaper to buy new DBA or RDA Commodore discs drilled to the Ford pattern. |
