Hey all , got a question. My dash lights dont work in my VS sedan V6 eco Lv2 dash. Evy thing else works, low/hi beam , parkers , dome light ... its just the cluster n auto-stick gear lights. When the fuse is replaced then light switch turned on it blows the fuse ( u can hear the fuse `pop' ) ive been told that it might b the dimmer part of the switch, i cant afford a replacement switch at prez ,
So would any1 b able 2 tell me what to put my mulit meter on the switch to check the dimmer part , or wha wires goining into the switch is the dimmer wire n the earth so i can buypass the dimmer "switch" its-self. Or has any1 else got any tips / idea's that might help me out ? at prez i got blue display lights on the dash n it makes it interesting to drive at night.

Thanks in advance ....

First off, I would be looking at why.

Just prior to this occurring, did you have any work done ont he car? A new stereo? console out for some reason? Changed a brake light bulb in the boot?

The most common causes I have seen for this are:
1. Cig
