did the 6 cylinders come with a 5 speed? if so, can they be easily adapted to an older 202 in a hx?

The carby engine did, but the EFI only officially came in trimatic. Without the external accessories and sump a black 202 is essentially the same external dimensions and will fit where any other EH 149 right through to VH 173/202 fits, therefore a VK box

yes they can! They fit straight up to anything with 6cyls and a cable clutch (i fitted one to my UC last year with the tailshaft yoke being the only modification). Depends what kind on clutch setup you have... Im not sure if the bellhousing on them will
