Looking at getting the car sprayed in the new year - any idea of cost? Can anyone recommend a good place in Melb?

for cost depends on wot car and quality of paint and if it a boodgy job. you can say money by doing the preperation your self zac

I can recomend you dont go to waddingtons in castlemaine. Did a **** job on my car took them 3 attemps and had to see a solictor to sort things out. Im also quite happy to show the car to anyone who wants a look to prove my claims :-) |

There is no greater satisfaction in applying paint to your own car. The reward is - you can say at the end of the day or to anyone interested in the vehicle that you did it yourself. As a young teenager I was fortunate enough to learn by one of the best

I've always painted my bikes, so i've got all the gear. I just don't have the space to do a ute. I've started to prep it up gradually - priming it and laying just enough paint over the top to seal the primer (you'd be surprised how many people prime cars

If you are willing to spray it yourself there are a few places around that rent out spraybooths. I know ottos paint bazar in melbourne used to rent his out but ive been told he shut his doors a while back. Try large paint supply stores cos im sure that |

If you are prepared to paint yourself, hiring a booth will be the way to go. If you get a shop to do it, they will charge $2000 upwards, and that is without any responsibility for shape of panels, ie. ripples or dents. If you want to go rat style, in a ba |
