Recently my LCD on my dash was stuffed, eg, black lcd ink spreaded on my ODO...

I went to the wreckers and purchased a New dash, the Speedo, that was from a V8 Lexcen, practically same mounts, and perfectly fited..

1 question. Does my new ODO/Speedo have a memory of the previous cars Milage..? or is it actually shown whats on the ECU...

The odometer reading is held in the cluster in a VN-VS, which means you will have the reading from whatever car it came out of.

The tacho & temp gauge are different between V6 & V8 models, but the rest is the same.

They never made V8 Lexcens, only V

Hi Troy,

What you can do is fire up the trip computer part of the dash before installing it to see how many KM are on it. The connector 4 on the underside of the dash has about 20 pins from memory and just hook up 12V to the + and - of this. You'll get

I've got a V8 VP commodore,the sped indicator works for a while and then goes back to nothing, the temp guage only works when you tap it and the same with the fuel guage sticks. can you give me some thoughts, if I need to replace the cluster about how muc
