Hi All
I have a vx ss commodore and have noticed it idling fairly high, about 1400 rpm or so in the last few weeks. When i start the car from cold it idles at normal - about 800 rpm but once driven for a while and pull up to the lights it goes to revving between 1200 and 1400 rpm. The car has had a maffless edit and cai installed, any ideas?
Thanks

Hi Lowie.
The Gen 3 V8s delelop a common vacuum leak in the PCV vent plumbing around the rear of the engine.
Take the cover off & have a look (or listen) for air leaks, usually easy to find.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |
