G'day all,
I thought my tonner was hot in summer with no air-con, but s**t, I got in my mates black HZ today and all I can say is I will never complain about the white tonner again, I knew darker cars were slightly hotter in summer, but F**K ME! I didn't realise how much, no s**t I almost fainted, and my car was sitting in the sun as long as his and mine was at least bearable to get into. I suppose the tinted windows on mine help a bit too, and his has air-con, but may as well not because it needs re-gassing, and hasn't got the balls to cool it down in the type of heat we had today. Cheers. Russ.

Mate, i just finished jamjobbin' the XW, Full gloss black and i'm scared to park the thing in the sun; You can see heat mirages straight away rising from the car, i'm a little worried about how much the black will compound the hot summers we get, that ***

My HX used to have black trim from top to bottom.

I remember my parent's HQ wagon and hot buckles. It was an ugly orange brown with brown trim and **** it got hot in summer too.
