i have a strong 250 alloy head,4 speed in my cortina.the motor has been rebuilt with a good street cam.the motor has extractors and a 2" sports exhaust and runs the twin barrel webber.what would suit it more a 350 or a 465 4barrel.i dont want to change the exhaust and i have a redline 2 and 4 barrel manifolds.so its just wich card will work best with this combo?the car is fairly strong but needs more fuel than the webber can supply.so what do you think 350 or 465?thanks in advance.

Go for a 465 Vac Sec, the primaries get you around well enough, and the secondaries only kick in when needed.

I would go the 465 as well. I ran one on my 289 windsor. Only a bit bigger motor than the 250, so air flow simular. I think the primaries on a 465 are smaller than the 350 so throtle responce and fuel economy will be better than a 350. Vac secs only come

350 cfm 2barrel if rated in same manner as 4barrels would only be half that! ie -350/2 =175cfm !
a 465 is too big- way too big!
go the weber 38dgas or 390cfm holley 4barrel !( square bore /vac secondaries
