i know we've had this discussion before but i can't find the post. what collapsable column will fit straight in or with a bit of modification, into an xp? its finally got to be done. thanks guys. appreciate any help.

use an XW/XY Column.

an XW-XY column is the normal and easiest to use if you want things to still look original. You will need to get the steering shaft shortened and splined. It is a relatively simple swap. Otherwise you can use any late model column.
