I was under the impression that all 253 engine mounts were the same but I see on ebay they talk about different model mounts so maybe the different models had different mounting points on the subframes.
I'm only interested in HT to HZ and does anyone know where you can buy new subframe mounting points that could be welded on another vehicles subframe.Is the HT to HQ transmission support bar the same for the manuals and automatics.
Any help greatly appreciated.

HT/G are different mounts to HQ-WB. IIRC VB-VSIII Commodores use the same mount as HQ-WB. LH/LX Torana are also the same as HQ-WB.
But all three use a different block to mount adapter (Torana as per HQ-WB).
There is no need to weld on mounts. HT/HG are |

Hi Bryon, You have been extremely helpful, why I asked about the mounts so to weld on is I want to put a 253 into another make of vehicle. Which subframe mounts would be the strongest so to adapt to another vehicle.
