Hi guys. Seems a hot bed of monaro talk action in here today. I have a friend who has a white HG monaro. Its a 186 and isnt a GTS. It has rust in the usual places but is overallin relatively good condition. Its a white car with a red interior. Would need resto, but is currently registered and is driving around melbourne. Shes wanting around 12 grand. You can email me at hainzy at baropen dot com dot au with any questions and Ill put them to her.. Cheers

i know the car and its not worth 12g's. for a stock monaro like that,
its still only worth 8 at the most. if it was worth it, it would be sold.
its worth as much as a kingswood + a coupe shell. and that aint 12g's mate.

In a few of years, you will be kicking yourself.

" I coulda had a Monaro for only 12 grand ".

Good luck to them, if they get 12 grand, then fine.
The market will decide.

Was at the Ballarat swap meet. In past years, always a few Monaro's for sal

maybee you did not see one, because people only buy them to re-sell on eBay...
no1 that sells a monaro on eBay is selling it for any other reason than to make money
off what they have just brought... the market CANT hold... just like the bloke above
do

even wreckers are now stripping all the good stuff off cars and selling them on ebay. I went to my local wrecker last week to see 5 HK-HGs sitting in a secure area waiting for the owner of the place to strip all the good parts. Once done he then puts them
