anyone know much about these diffs? are they any good behind a mild 302 and how do they rate against a 9 inch? thanks again.

If it's the same as the one I'm thinking of... Do you mean the LSD versions? Like a regular old Borg Warner LSD, same (internally) as the VL turbo diffs? I've given mine a caning (so did the previous owners) no clunks, nothing. A few friends of mine swe |

Hi, i agree with Josh. Less weight and quite OK behind a 302 unless you are planning to cane it on a burnout pad (which would kill a stock nine inch too without a few mods)

yeh i think its from an xw? did they have these in them? not lsd either but how easy and cheap is it to find a new centre? thanks again guys

easy, but prolly not cheap. Unless you can find a an old LSD, i think fairlanes (in general) would be more likely to have one(usually in 2.92 according to my cortina mate)and have it rebuilt, or talk to your local diff guy and buy a new centre.
