can someone tell me were i could buy a tool for removeing bearing cones from my diff the ones for the axles i have a slide hammer and have made up different fittings for it but there must be a proper tool for the job they can be a bugger when in tight cheers and thanks

I only ever use a slide hammer with a large flat washer on the end and as long as you pull them out even they should come straight out.The HQ workshop manual shows tools no 4a46 (a slide hammer)and tool 4a50/6 (a cylinder shaped tool which has slots cut i

im guessing u mean the cups that are in the diff housing? not the "cones" that are on the axel? if you do mean the cups than yeh slide hammer or you can run a weld around the inside face of the cup. this will shrink the cup and when it cools down it wi |
