G'day guys, I've got an auto VR V6 commodore which recently was playing up. The car was idling really rough and when slowing down the car would lose revs and cut out. I took it to a mechanic who said it was the 'valley' gasket causing dramas and another said it was the head gasket. I didn't choose to believe either because the car wasn't overheating or losing too much coolant and neither wanted to hear my opinion. So I put in a new oxygen sensor and runs a charm.
Just thought a bit of advice for people experiencing similar problems, cheers Conor.
