Hi all, Just sorting through the shed and came across another part that I don't know what it suits. It's a 5 speed shifter (regular pattern) with the reverse a push in and up to the left arrangement. The size of the unit can be seen as they are regular brick pavers underneath, hope someone can help?? Could it be Gemini? Thanks Peter 202 and three on the tree, can't get more Aussie than that!! |

By the look of the way it is attached. It is a borg warner shifter which means it can be holden/ford or in lots of jap stuff as well.

It will fit into lots of cars but there are lots of differant angles to suit those differant cars so they face differant ways. If that makes any sense to you.

OK as stated it looks like a Borg Warner shifter from a single rail. Having said that your description of where reverse is makes me think that indeed it is from a Borg Warner five speed as fitted to VH/VK Commodores, XE/XF Falcons & Sigmas.

Thanks, yes you're right push in and up to the left for reverse.
Looks like we might have an idea what it's off now, thanks all!

The reason I think its single rail is because I had one in my torana and I got to inspect it quite often , as the threaded balljoint thingy was stripped so that whole asembly just comes out in your hand
