hey guys.


i just priced a exhaust system for my ed xr8..pace maker headers and stainless steal pipe...but i 4 got to ask about the cat/cats...just wondering ....i am getting a 2 into 1 3"...do i need to run 2 cats?

Your car would already have 2 cats. Do they intend to re use your existing cats or replace them? Replacement cats would bump the price up a fair bit I would imagine.

i guess they figured on using the old ones....and i 4 got about asking....yea i know high flow cats are expensive....thats why i was wondering if i could get away with running 1 cat...may seem silly to ask but hey if i dont ask i dont know..

I would talk to your exhaust place again & clear it up. IMHO one hi flow cat would not flow as much as two standard cats unless the hi flow is really big.
