hey all
i just brought an XE panel van to do up, and i dnt know how big the engine is. i (think i) know that ford had a 3.3L engine as well as the 4.1L engine to go into these cars...
its a 1984, and part of the VIn plate has been rubbed off, i can read the year it was made, n part of the engine number...
its got a carb on the top too...
can anyone help me here plz?

pull out a spark plug and stick a smaal piece of wore down the hole.get the motor on top dead centre and put a mark on the wire with a nikko pen,then turn the motor over till it hit the bottom and mark your piece of wire again.there you have it,this will

probably a 4.1 ive got 1 too. does yours have a taigate or ambulance doors?
