does anyone know if the xc run had a limited colour chart or was anything available the 3 i have have been hard to track down colours ute-onyx black,sedan-sherwood green and coupe-sno white .and where is it best to colour match interiors and does anyone know if carrara(qld) swapmeet is still on sunday?

Y426 is the plate colour and ford have told me its is onyx black with engine T gearbox B and trim D . is there any way of finding out if they are correct plates for ute and how many were made in a certain colour before i respray it in a different colour .

Mate I've been trying to find my the colour of my 1976 XC colour code M and Ive been going crazy there is hardly anything to go by XA's XB's not a problem I think I might have to try Ford.

onyx black on xa was code B , on xb code B , no onyx black on xc , thats from max ellery repair manual. pretty basic book though. code T is 351.

Were the XC Cobras snow white and bold blue? Snow white code was 9 from memory?

The only colors I can find are-
sand white-code 9
platinum blue-code W
blue steel-code A
chalet blue-code 7
neptune blue-code 4
regency blue-code N

i dont mean to invade ... but my xc had a tab on the front bumber that says "dayfield red" (my car is red) i havnt seen any code that has that name to it...

It must have been resprayed that colour, check code on compliance plate for original colour- xc code -H is red flame

I once had an XB with a tag on the front radiator support panel saying Euclid green or hi-lite yellow from memory, the engine bay still showed signs of a bright green or yellow but the car had been painted black, maybe xcracer, your car was painted a cert

78XC. i have M code in XA = blue / blaze blue.
and M code for XB = yellow blaze. XC N code = regency blue
302SUPERBIRD. yes code 9 but like it's sand white.
