Hey All, I was hoping that somebody could help me, I am currently restoring a HJ Monaro and I found a 3-part rear boot wing on eBay that is advertised as "genuine factory fitted", I was just wondering if anybody who knows a bit more about Monaros could tell me how to verify if its genuine or not, it would look great on my car but I don't want to add it unless it was a Holden Spec Part. The link is http://cgi.ebay.com.au/H...DVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
any help would be appreciated because obviously its on a timeframe and I have to bid on it soon if I want to buy it. Thanks, Boofhead :-)

Without seeing the underside it is difficult to tell if genuine or copy.

ask the guy for an under side photo, these spoilers were mounted by bolts underneith through the car panels, it must also be fibreglass not plastic

That one is for a sedan, not a coupe and is fibreglass. I believe it's the other way round, the factory originals are plastic. Cheers, Pete. Old Holdens never die, they just go faster. Edited by user Monday, 2 April 2007 5:52:41 PM(UTC)

if they are genuine they should have a part No. imprinted in them. its more than likely just an aftermarket one.....
