Hi All,
Does anyone know if the centre vent on HQs with factory air will fit where the side vents are? I think its a better design, having the ability to point in any direction, rather than just a general direction like the side vents.

yes they will, but with the HQ's flow through ventilation system & using the A/C style vents, you wont be able to block off cold air from flowing out of them during winter, where as the A/C units have vacuum operated baffles that shut off the flow of air |

Thanks Monaro202. Mine has factory air, so I was going to try and get a hold of 2 centre vents to put on each side. I see what you mean about the non a/c HQs, Holden obviously didnt bother changing the vents on the sides for the two variations.

Factory air cond HQs use the same directional type vents in all 3 outlets.

Thanks for clarifying that Dr Terry, I've only just bought the vehicle and haven't taken possession yet - I obviously didn't look closely enough at the outer vents and just assumed they were the same as non-factory air models. Cheers Rhys Edited by user Friday, 6 April 2007 1:25:11 AM(UTC)
