Hi guys,
Can someone please advise of the necessary tools that should be used to assist in removing said mirrors, as I have lost enough skin off my knuckles already.
I can only get the socket onto the nut, but the extension cannot lock onto the head of socket.
There must be a simpler way instead of getting an angle grinder to remove top section door.
Kind regards George

Gday
I have done this only recently, I used a deep throat socket 12m for memory and layed the door on its side.
A bit of WD40 doesn't go astray in helping lubricate the nuts.
HOPE THIS HELP....

I use a large flat stanley screwdriver in the socket and get the nuts off the mirror that way. A prespray of WD40 or inox helps too. You will save you knuckles this way.

Hey guys,
I took both of your suggestions and managed to remove both bolts with WD40 and a 7/16th socket [12mm I hate Metric system] attached to a large flat screwdriver.
Kind regards George
