Hi i work for a battery shop and was looking for procedures for reseting the radio and security systems after the battery has been removed. We use memory minders but sometimes the clips slip off and the codes are lost. Fortunately we've been lucky so far and its only happend on cars that reset them selves when the key is put in. but we've been told that the new comodores have a special procedure for reseting. i was just wondering wether these procedures were publicly available?

My dealings with this have shown that there are lots of differant procedures for differant brands of cars,as well as knowing the pin code to re set it. Some toyota's are set by the owner at pic up. So toyota do not have a record of the pin and you have t
