will a th 400 fit in a ht or do i need to stick with th 350
will be coupled to 350 chev

TH400 will require tunnel mods. TH400 is a better box, but a TH350 will do behind a 350.

Problem is you have to modify a crossmember also, which happens to be the one supporting the front seats. Bad move. Better off with the TH350.
