I understand that this is probably a pretty simple question however,
I'm converting my Clevo 302 from an auto to a manual with a reconditoned flywheel, new clutch, pressure plate and spigot bearing. All the books refer to marking the fly wheel postion prior to removing it to ensure that the whole package is balanced when you re-assemble it.

My question is, when you are installing a new flywheel in place of the flex plate are there any markings, guides or locators I should be looking on the rear of the crank/block to make sure the the whole setup is balanced.

Thanks in advance!
