What exhaust is best for a 253 with Stromy ?

Just acquired a Q with 253 red with a very butchered exhaust system. What is best from here ? Standard 2" front-rear, maybe 2.5" or run a twin 2" system ? It'll be running a stromy for now, no Quad or Holley in the plans as yet. So whats the go folks ?? All ideas welcome.

I would not go anything over 2" on a 253 try extractors and 2" twin system and put in a balance pipe

After having many a 253's I recomend a 2/2inch joining into a 2.5inch after the g/box and one muffler to complete the system continuing 2.5inch to the end. A big single system balances the motor and warms up quicker and reduces condensation & rust in

Hi CROWE,
Thanks for the advice. In the absence of oodles of funds right now, I have put on a bod standard single system 2" from Midas ($264.00). It sounds crap, but its better than none at all. I will look into a decent system, when I get it r
