TRYING TO FIND OUT WHATS REQUIRED TO CONVERT KINGSWOOD SEALED BEAMS TO H4 TYPE HEADLIGHTS OR SIMULAR. IF NEW H4 LIGHTS JUST BOLT IN WITH THEE OLD WIRING OR HAVE TO BE MODIFIED.

They will bolt in if you buy the right lights, but you'll have to beef up the wiring. Low beam can stay on the original wiring. Simply use the original high beam feed wire to drive the coil of a 30A relay. Connect the other side of the relay to ground. An |

I prefer to run relays on both low and high beam when doing this conversion as the original dip switches do not like many amps going through them - they burn out. It should also make your lights slightly brighter as more voltage will be getting to them.

HZ have H4s and HX have sealed beams, they both use the same switch and wiring.
You need to check the wattage of your existing lamps and then if you use the same wattage halogen lamp there is no need to increase cable sizes. The advantage of H4 is they
