There used to be Merc limo's in Sydney that had the original V8's removed and Chevs or Stroker 308's installed. The complete conversion was apparantly cheaper than a dizzy rebuild! And more reliable to boot.

Hi Guys.
I know I'm stealing the thread, but.
I must be showing my age when somebody says 'Merc' I instantly think Mercury (not Mercedes Benz). Mercury is a division of Ford in the US, that was once the premium or performance branch. A Mercury Coug |

Ever since I can remember a Merc was a Mercedes. I reckon i've only ever seen one or two Mercury's in my life.
But I know what you mean. Young fellas talk to me about Rex's. To me a Rex is an RX2,3,4,5,7 or 8. Always has been. Always will be. But they ar |
