on my hq statesmans dash, the fuel gauge has 2 pink wires, which are the positive, and a tan wire, on the oil gauge there is also 2 pink wires, any one know why there's 2 as they both merge into the one connector on the back of the gauge, reason i ask is i'm going to attempt to convert the dash to full instruments, thanks

Hi Bob,

In the original dash wiring loom for HQ's, there is one pink feed that comes into the first gauge, then the second is fed from the first and so on....use either (or both) wires depending on how you are going to feed power to the gauges.
