G’day

Just looking for information to fit a HQ-Z V8 ute diff
into a HG monaro.
We haven’t got the diff yet and are wanting to know if this is possible? WeHave seen the front disc conversions, and it's a fairley straight forward conversion, however rear diff are usually a 9 inch.
Main points of interest are the spring mount locations and diff width. Any unforseen problems we face?.
Wheels will be changed to HQ too.
Perhaps to remount the diff brackets etc…

You are better off using a VB-VK 5L diff. They are the same diff, just shorter and with disc brakes. About 25-50mm narrower than a HK-G diff. Only problem is they are 120mm PCD. HQ is 120.65mm.

If we all had the same (good) taste, who would buy all the Fords?
