can someone tell me were i can i get a beafed up trimatic i have just spent $150 on mine and it still thumps bad going into low its got a new modulator the pipe is clear and the rubbers are good its behind a standard 6 on gas cheers

sounds like a trapped air or sticking valve in the valve body, go get some NULON transmission additive & put that in with a oil change and make sure you check the fluid as directed in the manual, I had a similar problem in my kingy, but after doing as I j

thanks kevin its just had work done on the valve body and full service vacume is 15 at idle i will give the nulon a go if that dont work i will have to change the box cheers

Genuine VK EFI boxes are the way to go behind a 6 if yours is stuffed. Otherwise get a VK or VL 5L trimatic and swap the pump and bellhousing over to a 6yl one. Only problem with either of these boxes is they are LH shift - but this is easily fixed by usi

go to raceglides,i think they're in melbourne, they'll beef up your box. But it depends how much yo wanna spend. They can make them to just about any specification, make them drive really smoothly, or make them be able to handle 600 - 700 hp
