Have a hz Kingswood sedan with the odd rare option. Really like the car but it needs work. Just wondering if other people here like this hq/z series sedan as well and what motivates you to restore them.

Its the old school charm that does it, the less of these there are on the road the more looks they get, I own a HX prem with a set of centreline autodrag rims on it and its always pulling looks.
They are easy to work on and maintain .With your HZ it has

The good thing about them is their simplicity as Cloudy says. Plus the commercial variants are separate chassis so most rust doesn't become structural - this is why there are so many HQ on commercials still around. When was the last time you saw an XA/B/C

Thanks for you views guys. Yes there is a bit of charm there and you are spot on Byron Rich. I really enjoy driving my sedan,driven many different cars in my time. Sure it hasnt got aircon or power steering but its great on rough roads and gravel. Its thi
