G'day i'm new here Found this site while cruisin the net. This blue fully marked Highway patrol VZ SS stood out. I reckon it looks great! better than boring old white. Anyone know why they are bringing out coloured cars insted of the plain white http://www.midnorthcoast...opic.net/p40989472.html
Cheers Josh

They are discussing it here in NZ too. Basically, by only buying white cars, they limit the resale value at the end of useful police life. By buying cars with a variety of colours, they keep their eventual resale value a little higher.

...and I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that every time you see a white car parked on the side of the road/hwy while are flying along you squint just that little bit to see if there is writing or lights on it! But white certainly isn't the pop |

The nicest cop car's you'll see, you'll only see when you're in trouble. Nice lowered SS & XR8 ( & calais) sedans with bodykits, mags & real dark tint. The tint is there so you can't see the internal blue & red lights until it's too late. Even seeen a co

If you have a look in Google, over east, can't recall which state but they've introduced a Chrylser 300C into the police force.

I am pretty sure it was in Melbourne they got the 300C but I am not sure what engine they had - I think it was the 5.7L not the SRT8 6.1L.

It's to do with "STEALTH" more $ in revenue. and that is all. in qld gov all hands go up if more $ can be generated. "THE STEALTH STATE QLD" and they are aganst. advanced driver training. SMART? IMPERTINENT!
