hey guys i have a 1996 vs commodore v6 3.8l exec i just rebuilt the top end and now that ive finished it wont start it keeps blowing engin fuses under the bonnet and somone on another forum told me it was a dead short i dunno what that means if any one could help theat would be awsom also the fuel pumpisnt comming on cos of the fuse if any one out there could give some insight or if any one has had this problem b4 could you plz help me its really irratating.

bugga, I bet it's irritating!
If the f/pump is blowing fuses (as well as any other fuse that are blowing) check that the +ve wires are not earthing out against the body or -ve wires. You may have 'pinched' one of the looms somewhere cutting through th |

hey i still cant find any breaks in the wireing loom what so ever any other sugestions
