Hi all, my 2 boys bought a xw 6cyl sedan in condition with there study money, they want to convert it to a xygt replica.they are 16 and 17.
now they bought some v8 engine base plates and it looks to me that the plates are slightly differnt in bolt hole alignments?
is the 6 cyl xmember different to that of a v8 ? if so how do I get around this ? the rest is fine but there panicking at present.
Im an old streeter but never mucked around with the fords Im at a loss at present.any info would be recieved with gratitude.

It sounds like you have purchased XA-XE mounting plates. They have a slightly different bolt pattern & they are taller than the XR_XY items.
