Hi there, I am looking at picking up an XA 4door for a pretty reasonable price and would like to know how much it will cost to restore and if it is worth going through with.
*It is currently fitted with a strong 250 which I will replace with a 302/351.
*It will need a new respray and some very minor rust repairs
*The interior will need restoring (carpet and seats)
How much for this guys? Please reply ASAP as car is on auction, REgards, Ryan

Ryan, how long is a piece of string? It depends what you are wanting. Breaking it down into mechanical, body and interior. Body and paint $2000 for a rough job, $7000 to $10000 for a decent show job. And that's providing the body doesn't have much rust

I agree with paul(how longs a piece of string)as long as the body is in good shape because at the end of the day that is the biggest pain in the arse to get right.A quick trawl thru ebay FORD parts will give you some idea of prices,GOODLUCK.
