i have a vr commodore that revs quite loudly when taking off at lights etc... i dont drag off at lights and have tried not really touching the accelerator when pulling off but she still revs. can anyone tell me what the problem could be, how to fix it and approx how much? i want to eventually get a 5 speed put in to her and want to see if its worth spending on a transmition that will be replaced soon.

many thanks in advance
