Does anyone know if a Holden 6cyl Powerglide can go behind a 253 if the bellhousing,ringgear etc are changed to V8 ones? Thanks.

Yes. You'd need to change the pump as well. Plus the extension housing is different as 6cyl uses a different rear mount to the V8 box, and the speedo cable is on the RH side on a 6cyl. I think the speedo drive gear is different too. In the end it's probab
