Hi folks,
Does anyone here, know of a car dealer called "McLeod Kelso Lee". Looking at the artwork, the label is very 70's.
Any ideas ?

Yeah, MKL. Holden dealer in Newcastle. My Parents bought a new HQ Belmont ute, and a HQ Kingswood wagon off them. They also bought a new Bedford truck, but I think it came from Young and Green in Kotara. I think MKL were in town. Maybe at dairy farmers co

Cool thanks for that...a very neat 1970 logo on the new project HQ. I would be a shame to get rid of it off the rear screen.

Yes I have an owner's manual wallet from the late 60s, just before HQ, with their logo on it.

Well I also have the screen by itself now !!!!!!!
After 31 yrs...the seals had gone, and only the chrome was holding the rear screen in LOL.

Mcleod kelso and Lee, or MKL closed in the 1970's to 80's, they had a car yard in Hunter Street Newcastle, possibly others...
