Hi all, I have a 202 HZ with standard manifolds and I plan to fit a set of HJ extractors to her. I'm assuming I need to change from the joined inlet and exhaust manifold setup to a HQ HJ style seperate inlet manifold, is that true? If so anyone have one in good nick, ie with the heater hose ports not too badly corroded? Happy to pay postage to Wodonga 3690. Please email me through the link or reply here if you can help.

Cheers

Peter

If they are anything like EH ones you just unbolt the exhaust manifold from the inlet manifold....but a bigger better inlet manifold would help the gains you get by fitting extractors.

.....one of my mates has extractors on his ute and he is just using the standard inlet manifold. The connection between the two is too heat up the inlet manifold when the car is cold if its not connected to the exhaust then it will run rougher when cold b

Thanks guys, much appreciated. At this stage I'll be keeping the single barrel Strommie (but thanks for the offer), twins are too hard to keep in tune! Cheers Peter

No good to me as I need to be able to fit my current gas snorkel top to it. I've never had a good run with Holleys on red 6s, they always chew too much petrol, idle rough etc etc. But that said thanks for the offer.
