hi i got a vs commo and its been sitting there for about 5 months and i finly paid atention to it it has a knock theats not rythmic ic only hapens every odd few seconds and also the gearbox wont go into gear if any one could help would be awsom

is it a knock or is it missing? could be plugs and leads, check the trans oil, check it while its running

just replaced the leads and spark fresh engine oil but trans is a bit low probly bout 1 and a half litres of tranny fluid maybie its not picking up the fluid cos i did a box servise

okgave it fresh oil all round and there is still a knock its not missing its just a knock hmm im wondering if it has enough oil presure

ok box is fine engin still knocks when cold could it be timeing if so how can i ajust timeing on these engines
any help would be much apreciated
