Turbo 400 Slipping in first while in Drive But not while first is selected??? mates just broughta VB SLE for $500 but its been in a padook for 6 months not going. just wondering if anyone has had the same problem any info will help thanx dudes.

i dont know anything about th 400 but ihave a trimatic behind a 6 that has baffled the auto transmission experts or should i say serviceman in newcastle which gets worse every time they put a spanner on it it thumps its doing a great job of destroying a

Probably needs a service. Oil may be low, filter blocked etc. O-rings can perish as well.

to hz dude do a bit of reading or if you have to use a so called expert make sure they fix before you pay and keep all reciepts if they do accidently fix it if only someone had given me that advice i would be a 1000$ better of cheers and ps the box would
