Hi I am replacing the front rotors on an EB II wagon. It has ABS. From what I understand it is fairly strait forward job, but I have never done it before so I thought I'd find out exactly what I'm doing before I jump in.

This is what I think I should do, but am not shore if its right or if theres any thing I should watch out for.

Remove wheel.
Remove two bolts to brake cailiper, then get caliper out of way.
Replace brake pads.
Remove dust cap for big nut.
Remove locking pin, then big nut.
Replace rotor.
Re assemble.

Any help or advice much appreciated.

Something like that

And regrease wheel bearing

Buy yourself some new hub seals too and install correctly
Biggest issue with those things is not seating the seal properly

Also you must use lock tight on the caliper bolts when you re a

Well I did it today, all went well. I reused and regreased the bearings as they have been done before and were in good condition. The caliper slides were stuck bad, (which is what caused the disc to wear.) But they freed up after a can of spray oil and

now take the calipers arart again and clean the slide up with metho
Then relube them with CRC Stalube caliper grease
Petroleum based products (oil) will swell the rubbers and jam the calipers up again
