Is there any problems to register a WB ute (ex 202 blue motor) now fitted with a red 202 motor as the red motor does not have pollution gear. The car is in Qld.

Yes. You can register early WB's with ADR27A on the compliance plate with an ADR27A red motor, but the later ones have more stringent ADR's and you can't do it, well officially anyway.

Hi Deano.

I'm not sure that you fully understood Byron's answer. He said it's OK to fit an ADR27A red motor (i.e. HX/HZ with anti-pollution gear). But you cannot fit an HQ/HJ red motor, i.e. the ones without any anti-pollution gear.
