Hi Guys Was wondering if anyone out there would know what the color code is for the burgandy and plum pearl paint that came out on the VP series. Originally got the code off a statesman, but Im only after the plum pearl code as this is what my car was painted in. I think it might have been BO54 or maybe even HO54 but as it was a very long time ago, I cant remember and would like to do some touch ups. These two numbers stick out for some reason. Any help in this matter would be much appreciated. Cheers Shane

Here's all the reds Holden used on the VP & VQ models:
2F039 Ruby Red (VQ & HSV only) 2F028 Phoenix Red (early VQ) 2F020 Cardinal Red (mid VQ & VP) 2F043 Empire Red (late VQ & VP) 1F075 Maranello Red (not available on VQ)
None of them are a pear |

Thanks Mick. But the one I'm after ends in 54 I just can't remember the first two letters. It is a purple color. Any ideas what it may be. Cheers Shane

Nothing from VH-VS ends in 54 except Marlin Blue & Platinum Gold used on VL & VN.
Maybe it was from a later model - VT onwards?

Mick Car was painted early 1994 so I dont think that it was from VT, unless colors were carried over that far. I realize that none of the paint colors were pearl but was there a red color that had a purplish undertone to give it a burgundy appearance?
