My girlfriend wants to sell her car but is unsure of how much it is worth.The chrome is excellent pretty smiko and i am not sure (as i am a holden owner)of how much her car is worth.There is rust as to be expected sill and doors all original trim greeny blue colour, bench seat if anyone is curious not buckets.tsk tsk ony a few tears, pretty original all round any help fella's.I would be interested in the difference in price between her model and the xy's...oh and all bonnet strips and i think guards splits, like the eh holdens have.

go check the vin plate and see what year the car was made. Could be anything from XT backwards. Is the car a 6 or 8? It's not a GT so don't expect GT prices.

I think it is an XR or XT pretty sure it is an XT
I am not near the car so cannot check details easily, just after a ball park figure is all

THE CAR IS LOCATED IN BRISBANE SORRY. HOW MUCH WOULD THIS CAR BE WORTH?? THE CHROME IS EXCELLENT NO PITTING, IT'S JUST THE RUST IN THE BOTTOM OF THE DOORS AND SILLS EVEN THE HUB CAPS ARE ORIGINAL. IF THAT MEANS ANYTHING.sorry about the capitals.

Jess it's very hard to do a guesstimate without seeing the car. XTs fetch half decent money if they are in good nick. Depending on the drivetrain and hidden rust the car could be worth from $500 to $3000. It's really hard to give a value for something

Thanks Paul, iwill let her know,she was hoping for $2700.The rust in the bottom doors alot, and little in the guards and sills at the bottom and I thought that just the chrome on the thing was worth it? lol.. well i know my 48 holden chrome is.lol. I tell

Jess, find out what engine is in the car. If it's a V8 it's worth quite a bit more though it's more common to see the Fairmonts with the 8s and seeing as this car has a bench seat in the front it's more than likely a Falcon.
