I am looking to buy a torana SLR 5000, I have foud one that is 100% original and is un molested. It is in good condition for its age and has done 200,000k's. All running gear is original and runs ok and paint is ok with stone chips and super market dents. Can anyone tell me how much they think its worth.

Thanks Alan

Without seeing it i'd guess $15,000, but it'd probably go for more on Ebay especially if it's red or yellow. If it's an LX auto drop a few thousand. All depends upon overall condition especially trim and not butchered in the wheelarches for flares.

Hi Guys.

Byron is fairly close with that one. Some might tell you it will bring more, but the 200,000km will hold it back. Most of the car, especially the suspension, brakes & gearbox will need some serious $$$$ spent on them.

Byron, I'm interested
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

LX autos are pretty common apparantly, as compared to LH autos so that is why I said LX and generally auto cars seem to be a little cheaper than manuals despite as you say they are generally rarer than manuals in "muscle cars" (by using the term by muscle
