came across a couple of barn (actually shed) finds...XM wagon excellent body and upholstery still has manufacturer's plastic on seats, some rust in the gutter cos shed roof leaked but otherwise dead straight and rustfree as far as I could see, same guy has XM ute in restoration at the moment almost immaculate, and a Fairmont in great condition. No GTs tho.he reckons he is going to restore them all but shed is so full of junk you can barely see the cars.

It can be quite frustrating when you see a potential project locked away untouched. I remember being shown a pristine bronze wine ZD Fairlane 5 years ago that had been garaged in 1980 when the owner passed away. The family couldn't bear to part with it

Yep. They are still out there guys. I found a XW Phase 1 tucked away in a shed about a year ago. It was parked there in 1981 cause the price of fuel was getting too high and they decided they should drive the wifes Laser for a while. It ran out of rego, b
