I have just fitted a second hand powere steering unti to my HQ tonner. There is a bit of free play in the steering wheel before the steering engages. Is anybody able to help with how to go about ajdusting the lash or free play on a power steering box?

if it's the same as a WB box, at the front of the box there will be a big lock nut, loosen it off and wind inwards the centre until it takes out the freeplay. make sure you dont over tighten it and test run the car too double check you steering isnt stick
