Guys,
Just about to purchase an LX SLR (6 cylinder).
Before i do i want to check if the motor is original, how do i go about that? Vicroads says that they can do it for a fee, but no guarantee of telling me?
Any other options?
Also, what would it be worth it is complete unregisted, original (i think with the motor check) and needs repainting (badly).

a guy in our club picked a very tidy original one with books for $4000
